The Adult Advisor Orientation Process
Parents of youth participants-
Adult without a child involved-
If you are interested in becoming an Adult Advisor, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, subject line: Adult Advisor.
In an effort to improve our programs, not burn out our current advisors, and be able to expand our programming, we are always looking for more advisors: parents, college students, retirees, and those who just enjoy children and are looking for a unique mentoring opportunity.
All parent/guardians of youth who are participating are encouraged to fill out a registration form, even if they do not plan on becoming an adult advisor. (Please note: all elementary aged children are required to have a parent/guardian with them while they participate in an event. That parent/guardian must register and sign up for events with their children.)
Hands4Hope has a special program for Adult Advisors and their families to show how much their commitment and dedication is appreciated. Active* Adult Advisors are not required to pay registration fees for themselves OR their immediate family members.
*Adult participants are considered Active Advisors once they have completed our Adult Advisor Orientation Process (listed below) and have acted as the Advisor for three outreaches, events, or Club/Committee meetings. Families may request reimbursement of their registration fee once a parent or guardian has completed these items.
