Fall Festival Committee
The Youth Board voted to replace the Hands4Hope Haunted House fundraiser with a Fall Festival fundraiser. This fundraiser would be organized and run similar to the Scare4Hope Haunted House, but will not be as labor or time intensive.
The project team will be organized in a fashion to mimic a functioning event planning/production company with the end product being an entertaining and family friendly Fall Festival (think Apple Hill in EDH), the management and staff being youth, the goal being to raise funds, build leadership skills, and have fun.
Youth leads will be in charge of each department or team. Each team will be in charge of and responsible for a different part of the project. Teams will be made up of high school and college students (ages 14-20) from El Dorado & Sacramento Counties, and each team will have at least one adult mentor. Team choices are as follows: Operations, Games & Activities, Finance & Legal, Marketing, and Volunteer Management.
