Other Organization Needs

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference has consistent needs for in-kind donations for fundraisers, outreaches, and youth development programs. These areas of need include:

  • Growth: Funds to use as needed to allow us to address the demand for growth of our Education and Community Engagement Programs, as well as strengthening our current programs. This will make it possible for us to include more youth in our life changing programs and, in turn, for them to develop projects to fill more unmet needs for those most in need.

  • Technology: This is a weakness for Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference. We need assistance in maintaining our desktop and laptops, uploading, and updating software, and identifying additional technology needed to help us run more effectively and efficiently.

  • Fundraisers: auction items are our greatest need, whether a gift card to a local restaurant or spa, use of a home or timeshare, a unique experience, wine, a service, a handcrafted item, etc.

  • Outreaches: food donations are a great asset to both the Placerville Emergency Food Pantry and the Folsom Mercy Senior Dinner. Because Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference is committed to serving 400+ individuals in need quarterly, there is always a great need for sack lunch supplies.

  • Adult Mentors & Outreach Leads: We are always in need of more adult volunteers to help mentor teams of youth through project development and implementation as well as to oversee youth at our community outreach activities. As an Outreach Lead, you may pick and choose the service opportunities that interest you and work for your schedule, where being a mentor requires more of a longer term time commitment. All adults will be trained and provided needed tools to be confident and comfortable.
