New Staff Member Spotlight: Esther Normoyle

Hands4Hope would like to welcome our newest staff member, Esther Normoyle!

Esther is joining Hands4Hope as our Fundraising & Communications Coordinator and will be assisting in the development and implementation of public relations and marketing campaigns, overseeing social media communications, and spearheading all fundraising efforts including stakeholder communication, fundraising campaigns, and fundraising events. She is a wonderful addition to the team and we are so grateful to have her!

Where are you from originally?

I'm originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I moved to Folsom in 1999 to work at Intel, then later started my family and made this home.

What were you involved with before starting with Hands4Hope?

I've worked in various industries from tech to telecommunications to medical sales and even sold magic supplies to magic shops all over the world. During my time as a stay at home mom, I volunteered for a wonderful organization called Active 20-30 #1032 of Greater Sacramento. This is where I gained my love for service as the club's slogan is "One never stands so tall as when kneeling to help a child."

What do you like to do in your free time?

I'm a cheerleader during my free time. I typically am cheering on my son Tristan (age 15) at his water polo or swim meets and my daughter Sienna (age 11) at soccer, basketball or tumbling. I also enjoy running with my running group Runnin' for Rhett, along with attending OrangeTheory or Pilates classes. I enjoy golfing and boating during the warmer months and snow skiing (or hanging out in the lodge on a snowy day) during the winter months. Overall, I love spending time with my family and friends and my pup, Rylee.

What goals do you have for your work with Hands4Hope?

My goals are to expand upon all of the amazing work that has already been done with fundraising and marketing. I hope to expand our reach within the community resulting in more volunteers and the ability to fund additional programs/opportunities for the youth in our community.

What are you most looking forward to in working with Hands4Hope?

I'm excited to get to know the many volunteers/supporters Hands4Hope already has as well as network within our community to educate others about this great organization. I know there are so many people out there who have never heard of our amazing organization who would love to be part of it!
