2. What is the reason(s) for sponsoring/supporting Hands4Hope?
The mission of Hands4Hope is aligned with our focus on youth mental health support. At Blue Shield of California, we aim to support organizations whose commitment to standing for what’s right aligns with ours. By inspiring and empowering youth to make their voices heard on issues affecting our community, Hands4Hope is helping to build the next generation of youth leaders.
3. Is there anything else that you would like to add?
When we launched BlueSky, little did we know that the world – and our youth - would be affected by a global pandemic and national protests about racial justice. These extraordinary circumstances have made programs like Hands4Hope, which aim to empower and support youth, more important than ever.
