You're invited to the upcoming Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference Adult Volunteer Training Workshop.
New to Adult Volunteering with Hands4Hope?
This in-person training workshop is for:
new adult participants interested in learning more about leading our youth volunteers
newly fingerprinted Adult Leads/Mentors with Hands4Hope
experienced Adult Leads/Mentors for Hands4Hope's Outreach and Committee programs who missed this workshop in the Spring
This training builds on our online modules covering Positive Youth Development, Effective Youth-Adult Partnerships, and Safety. Participants will gain practical tools, shared language, and a deeper understanding of how to effectively guide and support Hands4Hope youth participants.
This is also an opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills, build confidence in your volunteer role, and connect with other adults who share your commitment to empowering youth to make a difference.

During this training, participants will build on their ability to:
Differentiate Hands4Hope from other community service organizations
Understand the role and expectations of an Adult Lead
Feel confident in outreach protocols and safety procedures
Deepen understanding of youth-adult partnerships and the 5 Cs of Positive Youth Development
Promote diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect to create safe environments
Feel comfortable helping groups break the ice and fostering strong team dynamics
This training is an opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills, build confidence, and connect with other adult volunteers who share your commitment to empowering youth to make a difference.
