Learn all about our new Development Coordinator, Melissa, and her plans for Hands4Hope
Where are you from originally?
I am originally from Folsom. I graduated from Folsom High School in 2012 and continued on to Sacramento State and graduated last fall. I moved to Lincoln three years ago when my husband purchased our first house.
What were you involved with before starting with Hands4Hope?
Before H4H, I worked for our wedding planner as an event coordinator. She brought me on after we hired her to plan our wedding.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love anything outdoors and being active. I love to take my dog hiking, letting him swim at the lake, and exploring new places. I also love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
What goals do you have for your work with Hands4Hope?
My goals for working with H4H are to learn more about the organization while also learning more about myself and growing within H4H. The mission of H4H is what drew me to apply for the position and I am so excited to dive in.
What are you most looking forward to in working with Hands4Hope?
I am excited about the opportunity to be able to make a difference in the community that I grew up in. I also am excited to get involved in the outreach programs we are involved in and promoting the mission of instilling core values into our youth.
