Program Updates: High School Clubs


The Oak Ridge Even Club, The Committee for Women is selling 3 Strands Bracelets to benefit 3 Strands Global Foundation. They will be selling them at the Town Center in front of Coldstone May 1st, 4th, and 5th from 4-8pm and May 6th from 9am-12pm. The proceeds from the bracelets go towards fighting human trafficking in the US, Cambodia, and Nepal. The Committee for Children collected art supplies through a neighborhood drive to benefit Snowline Hospice- Healing All Together which is an art camp for grieving youth.

The Oak Ridge Odd Club, The Committee for the Homeless, collected 170 pairs of socks on campus to benefit the Hands4Hope Homeless Outreach.

The Ponderosa Club has decided to benefit Hope House this semester. On May 6th, they are going to paint a bike path to resemble a road in the kids area!

The Union Mine Club made 75 reusable drawstring bags filled with toiletries for homeless teens in Placerville. They are benefitting the New Morning Shelter and distributing them later this month.

The Folsom Club raised $360 with a bake sale at the Folsom Safeway last month! They are benefitting the Mustard Seed School in Sacramento.
