Sponsor Spotlight: US Bank

For the past eight years, U.S. Bank has partnered with the Hands4Hope Leadership Program to help youth learn financial literacy skills and prepare for their future.

In 2018, U.S. Bank awarded H4H a grant to fund the Budget and Financial Literacy Workshop, helping teens learn financial basics and how to manage finances for youth led projects with confidence. In addition to providing the grant, U.S. Bank volunteers provided financial literacy training during workshop sessions, which covered basic financial terms, planning, setting goals, developing and managing a budget and managing credit.

“At U.S. Bank, our Community Possible giving and engagement platform is focused on closing the gap between people and possibility in the areas of Work, Home and Play,” said Pamela Maxwell, vice president Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Development manager. “H4H is an outstanding organization that gives youth an opportunity to sharpen budgeting and financial planning skills that will help them on their path to having successful careers. We feel fortunate to be part of this journey.”

Through Community Possible, U.S. Bank invests in and supports programs and organizations across the country that help small businesses thrive, provide pathways to higher education, help people succeed in the workforce and gain greater financial empowerment.
