Ryan Christopher Hersh Scholarship Committee:

This committee is responsible for drafting, releasing, marketing, and reviewing scholarship applications to give underprivileged youth the opportunity to attend the summer camp of their choice! It is a great opportunity to learn about an endowment fund and gain different skills through the tasks given. Being able to send local youth to a summer camp they are really passionate about and hearing about their experiences afterward is heart warming and life changing!

BACKGROUND: The Ryan Christopher Hersh Memorial Scholarship Fund is a fund that was initiated by the grandparents of Ryan Christopher Hersh in memory of their grandson, Ryan, who passed away at the age of 18. Ryan was an active participant in Hands4Hope for multiple years, assisting with food collection and distribution, homeless outreaches, and mentoring children at a local food and clothing distribution site. Ryan was a kind and gentle young man who served with love, respect, and an open heart.

TIME COMMITMENT: Weekly meetings starting in late February continuing through mid-May with a wrap up meeting to occur in late summer.

If you are in 8th-12th grade and interested in joining apply before 2/15, at Ryan Christopher Hersh Scholarship Committee: https://forms.gle/KbvMAHMdPAJxpjkG7
