The high school midyear retreat was held on February 1st at Green Valley Community Church.
The theme this year was Serving with Empathy, looking at the world from someone else's perspective. We welcomed Lisa Tuter, Executive Director of the Twin Lakes Food Bank as our guest speaker.
The high school leaders spent the rest of the day team building and working through various workshops and activities designed to help better develop communication skills and improve collaboration on their teams. Fun was had by all 21 leaders who attended!

The middle school midyear retreat was held on February 22nd at Green Valley Community Church.
The theme this year was Inspiring Leadership. This was the most well attended middle school mid year retreat to date, with 28 youth leaders out of 30 in attendance!
The middle school leaders spent the day team-building and working through various workshops and activities designed to help better develop communication skills while improving collaboration on their teams. Additionally, the leaders worked on both individual and leadership team goals to help guide them through the second half of the year. Fun was had by all the leaders who attended!
