VOLUNTEER WITH Hands4Hope In Folsom

Inspiring and Empowering Youth in Folsom since 2013

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference is a youth-led, service learning and outreach organization with the mission of inspiring and empowering youth in leadership and service. Youth explore social issues surrounding them, take action by choosing and designing service projects, and lead these projects from start to finish.

Folsom youth and adults participate with Hands4Hope through after-school Committees and through Outreach Program opportunities.

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference youth partner with local organizations and groups to serve those in need in Folsom community. Our partners that offer regularly occurring Outreach Opportunities include: 

  • Mercy Creekview Senior Housing

  • Twin Lakes Food Bank

  • Powerhouse Ministries

Additional Folsom-based Community Partners engage through the Hands4Hope Education Program's Clubs and Committees, and include:

  • Jake's Journey Home

  • Folsom's HOPE

  • Sweet Dreams Foundation

  • HART of Folsom

Additional Folsom community members and organizations support Hands4Hope by hosting drives, donating items for auctions, and in a myriad of other ways. We are so grateful for all of the Folsom community's support!

On-Campus Clubs In Folsom

Folsom on-campus Hands4Hope Clubs operated for more than five years (at Folsom High, Vista del Lago, Folsom Middle, Sutter Middle), and a pause was announced for the 2025-26 program year due to lack of funding and community support. Folsom Clubs are not reopening in the 2026-27 program year. Folsom-based youth continue to participate meaningfully with Hands4Hope through after-school Committees and through the Outreach Program.
