A Message from Hands4Hope Executive Director

Dear Hands4Hope Youth Participants, Parents, & Supporters,

We hope you are well and staying healthy! Following the state of emergency guidelines, we have closed our office and Youth Center and each of our staff members is sheltering in place and working from home. We are all safe, healthy, working hard,

and full of hope and gratitude.

During these unprecedented times, we find our emotions all over the place from fear and uncertainty to heartbreak for those most impacted to love and immense gratitude for time with our families, those on the front lines, and those supporting

each other in any way they can.

Through our incredible network of youth, parents, and community members, we are working to support our partner agencies and schools and those they serve, along with our own youth and families. We are challenging ourselves and our youth to get creative and have shared many ideas with you and will continue to through

our website and social media outlets.

We have discovered ZOOM as a wonderful way to connect with each other, our Board, and our youth. We have moved our after-school committee meetings to ZOOM meetings and we are working on a workshop series for our youth, so they may continue building skills to help with their Hands4Hope service projects, as well

as explore areas of interest for future careers.

As we continue to serve our youth and those in need in our community the best that we can during this time, we also recognize the financial impact this virus and state of emergency is likely to have on all of us, including Hands4Hope. It has the potential to impact our budget greatly, forcing us to make hard decisions in regard to programming in the months to come, when our youth need engagement more than ever and when compassion in action becomes necessary to help maintain some sort of normalcy for those in need.

We want to continue to be here for our youth and the community, but we are going to need your help to ensure this happens. Please consider a financial gift to Hands4Hope in the next few months . . . your gift means more now than ever before!
