New Morning Youth & Family Services has been in Placerville for over 51 years. It started as a drop in center for adolescents who were having difficulty with using substances. Now we are a multi-faceted agency with an outpatient counseling center with offices in Placerville, Cameron Park and Pollock Pines, The Ashby House (a 12 bed shelter for homeless youth), a substance use disorder services program (the only outpatient treatment program for adolescents in El Dorado County), the foster care youth launch program, the Latino Outreach program and the Victims of Crime program. We strive to meet clients in our offices, their homes, the schools and in the community in order to support their goals for wellness. We know that helping kids is about helping the whole family and that is why we focus on the family system. We serve youth 0-18 and their families.
