This year Elder Care Management will be hosting their 5th annual Mission to Honor Veterans event on Friday, October 17, 2025 where they plan to honor 100 local veterans by taking them on a virtual trip to Washington D.C. to "visit" our National War Memorials, ensuring that no veteran feels left behind due to age or frail health.

Part of this event is the "Letters of Gratitude" campaign, where the community is invited to show their gratitude with hand-written cards. Hands4Hope participants are helping write letters for the Mission to Honor Veterans "Letters of Gratitude" campaign.

In addition, Hands4Hope facilitated the collection of cards from local schools, including:

  • Silva Valley Elementary

  • Oak Meadow Elementary

  • Lakeview Elementary

  • Louisiana Schnell Elementary

  • Union Mine High School (Hands4Hope Club)

  • El Dorado High School (Hands4Hope Club)
