The company's co-founder, Scott Hanson, has been a generous personal supporter. Allworth Financial has been a corporate sponsor of Hands4Hope since 2021 and a sponsor of Endless Summer Beach Party for five years. This year they increased their support to become a Visionary Sponsor. Adam Kint, Vice President of Advisors, also supports the Hands4Hope mission by volunteering his personal time and expertise on the Hands4Hope Board of Directors, as well as through his financial support.

Tell us about Allworth Financial.

Allworth is a fee-based fiduciary wealth management firm providing financial guidance to over 30,000 clients nationwide. The firm was founded in Sacramento in 1993 and continues to emphasize community involvement. In fact, our co-founder, Scott Hanson, and his wife Valerie, are big supporters of Hands4Hope.

What about the mission of Hands4Hope resonates with your company’s values or goals?

Hands4Hope’s emphasis on youth leadership and service aligns with our desire to help today’s youth become thriving, productive citizens in the future. Allworth Kids is our national philanthropic initiative, in conjunction with the Ticket to Dream Foundation, that supports foster children.

What is one special moment or memory that stands out to you from your interactions with Hands4Hope?

For me it was the first time I attended a board meeting as a director. It was there that I first met and heard from the youth participants. I was struck by their dedication and passion for serving their communities. Along the way I got to witness their growth as leaders as they developed the confidence in themselves that comes with working with other youth, business leaders in the community, and the beneficiaries of the charities they support. It’s been inspiring to know that the future is in good hands.

On a personal level, what does giving back to the community mean to you or your team?

Giving back allows me to step back from the narrow focus of my life and focus on others. Like planning for retirement, helping others is an investment in the future.
