Thank you for supporting the 11th Annual Toiletries Drive Challenge!

Updated: Jun 3, 2021

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference partnered with local elementary schools to collect toiletries for those in need in our community. This year, in addition to schools in El Dorado Hills, we were able to expand into Folsom and Placerville. The schools that collected the most toiletries in each area won the Toiletries Drive Challenge Traveling Trophy.

The 2021 winners were Jackson Elementary, Gold Ridge Elementary, and California Montessori Project!

A big thank you to Silva Valley, Folsom Hills, and Country Day Montessori for participating in the drive and giving the winners a good challenge. Thank you also to Datwyler Orthodontics and Folsom Lake Surf Soccer Club for their continued support in collecting toiletries and contributing to the 7,417 total items we were able to collect! The Hands4Hope Community Engagement Youth Interns, Elise Taylor and Paige Flagg worked to plan, organize, and execute the drive and other Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference volunteers sorted and counted the items to determine the winners. These toiletries are already being packed and delivered to our partner agencies to directly help the people they serve!
