Elementary Schools in Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and Placerville, as well as Datwyler Orthodontics, will be participating in the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Annual Toiletries Drive during the month of February.
The schools with the most toiletries in each area will win the Traveling Trophy. Last year, the traveling trophies were awarded to Jackson Elementary in El Dorado Hills, Gold Ridge Elementary in Folsom, and California Montessori Project in Placerville.
In addition to the schools, Folsom Lake Surf Soccer Club and Datwyler Orthodontics also participated in the collection of toiletries. Together, they collected over 7,400 items of toiletries to help those in need in our community.
Let's see if we can reach 8,000 items this year! The toiletries that we collect this year will also benefit families who lost their homes in the Caldor Fire.
