Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference High School Clubs Update

Updated: Dec 1, 2020

The Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference High School Clubs are all off and running! Clubs are meeting twice per month virtually with some opportunities for safe in-person hands on project development. There are some club openings available for a few campuses. If you are interested in joining a club with availability, please apply here. Following our service-learning model, all clubs are working through the stages of Exploration, Action and Leadership to investigate the needs in the local community then design, implement and evaluate their service-learning projects. Most clubs are in the early action planning phase,so it’s a perfect time to join!

If you want to donate to help any of the club efforts listed below, there are donation barrels in front of both of our youth centers: 905-A Spring Street, Placerville & 5005 Windplay Drive, Suite 2, El Dorado Hills. (Please email the contact listed for each school below to arrange an in-person drop-off or pick-up appointment if needed)

  • El Dorado and Union Mine Hands4Hope Clubs are working on school-wide drives for Tide Pods and feminine hygiene products to support the El Dorado County Office of Education, in addition to their individual club projects.
