The 2025 Hands4Hope Winter Boutique youth committee participants have been hard at work setting up and planning this year’s Warm and Fuzzy drive and Winter Boutique. We have been working with local schools, businesses, and organizations to collect new warm clothes, including socks, blankets, and pajamas among other items. These warm and fuzzies will be given out at Winter Boutique in order to support low income families in our community. The Winter Boutique distribution will take place during the first two weeks of December at Faith Episcopal Church in Cameron Park. The Decorating Subcommittee has decided on a gingerbread theme for this year’s boutique.

As a fairly recent committee member volunteering for Hands4Hope, I have been amazed watching how many donations are coming in! I have been working very hard with the other members doing such tasks as sorting clothes for those in need, making fliers for events and working to plan the Winter Boutique. It feels good to work with others for such a worthy cause. I know that the work we are all doing is a valuable service to people in the community. We are so excited to see it all come together when we open the boutique this December.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

There are still many upcoming opportunities to volunteer and help out with this great cause! These include helping at clothes sorting events, joining us at the annual Hands4Hope Blanket Making Party, and set up and distribution for the Winter Boutique itself.
