Youth committee members, youth leaders, and adult mentors are wanted for the 2024 Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference School Supply Committee! The committee will work on collecting school supplies and planning the 11th annual distribution to benefit children in need. The committee will begin meeting in March and continue through the summer as we collect and sort items for distribution, culminating in the distribution event in early August.
Committee members will be in charge of reaching out to businesses asking them to host school supply collection drives, hosting collection events within the community and counting and sorting donated supplies. They will determine the layout and design of the School Supply Distribution held the first week in August, as well determine the number of volunteers needed to run the event smoothly.
This opportunity is for students entering grades 7-12 in the 2024-25 school year.
