Please join us for the 14th Annual Youth Recognition Event! We will take time to honor and recognize the achievements of all of our Hands4Hope youth participants. Youth will also be able to present their demonstration projects, providing an opportunity for all to learn about their service-learning experiences.

All Hands4Hope youth participants who attend will receive a Hands4Hope Service Certificate for the 2024-25 program year.

Hands4Hope is a certified organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award and has traditionally provided certificates for qualifying youth. Unfortunately, this program was paused as of May 27, 2025 as part of federal cuts to AmeriCorps, and due to this decision, it is no longer possible for Hands4Hope to obtain President's Award certificates for participants. The President's Volunteer Service Award is a national program created in 2003 that recognizes individuals by age category who have achieved a certain number of hours of service in a 12-month time period and whose service positively impacts communities and inspires those around them to take action, too. Qualified youth will still receive acknowledgement of their achievement from Hands4Hope staff at the Youth Recognition Event, and if the federal program resumes in the next 12 months, Hands4Hope will order official certificates on their behalf.
