Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference is excited to invite you to our upcoming Adult Volunteer Training Workshop, designed specifically for volunteers who are either currently serving as Adult Leads and/or mentors, or who are interested in learning more about this role.
New to Adult Volunteering with Hands4Hope?
This in-person training workshop builds on our online modules covering Positive Youth Development, effective youth-adult partnerships, and safety. Our goal is to provide you with practical tools, shared language, and a deeper understanding that will strengthen your impact on and support of Hands4Hope youth participants.
Training Details:
📅 Saturday, March 21
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Fire Station 85 – Conference Room
1050 Wilson Blvd., El Dorado Hills
During this training, participants will build on their ability to:
Differentiate Hands4Hope from other community service organizations
Understand the role and expectations of an Adult Lead
Feel confident in outreach protocols and safety procedures
Deepen understanding of youth-adult partnerships and the 5 Cs of Positive Youth Development
Promote diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect to create safe environments
Feel comfortable helping groups break the ice and fostering strong team dynamics
This training is an opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills, build confidence, and connect with other adult volunteers who share your commitment to empowering youth to make a difference.
