Join the Empty Bowls 2026 Committee

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference is looking for youth leads and youth committee participants for the 2025-26 Empty Bowls Committee. Participants in the Empty Bowls Committee learn how to plan and implement a large-scale fundraising event to benefit those who are experiencing food insecurity in our community and internationally. The Committee can have 8-15 participants who commit to 30-40 hours of service between October and February, as well as lead the Empty Bowls Dinner Event.

Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to apply. Meetings primarily take place at the Hands4Hope Placerville Youth Center.

The Hands4Hope Empty Bowls Fundraiser Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026. The event will once again be held at the Forni Building on The El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. 

The interest survey is due on Friday, October 10, 2025.
